Q + A

Why did you pick opening day?

Courtney's favorite movie is Bambi so we are hoping to save some deer. Kidding, we wanted a fall wedding and had conflicts in previous weeks. After selecting Fox Hills and seeing their availability - it strangely felt perfect to us. We are both hunters and love spending time in the blind together. It's going to be a perfect Anniversary tradition.

By the way - the morning hunt is usually better anyways.

Do I need to dress warm for an outdoor ceremony?

We do not expect anyone to shiver while we tie the knot. Fox Hills offers outdoor heaters and canvas walls in the gazebo for a wind break. We will also supply blankets at ends of the aisles. If the weather is simply too cold or windy, it will be moved into the reception hall. We will have a clear plan a few days before when the weather is clear.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

A typical 15-20 minutes early will be fine. If you arrive a few minutes late, please watch from the reception venue to not interrupt the ceremony. If the ceremony is indoors and you are late, please use the side door (will have signage to guide).

Where's my guest? Do you not like my kids?

We tried our best to ensure everyone at our wedding actually knew who we were. If you think we made a mistake, please reach out.
